On November 18th 2007, a ceremony was solemnly held for celebrating the establishment of Sinkiang Dayu Water-conservation Sub-company and the debut of drip irrigation production lines in Sinkiang Dayu Water-conservation Sub-company, Changji Autonomous Prefecture, Sinkiang.

Gansu Dayu Water-conservation CO., LTD. is a would-be listed company approved by the People`s Government of Gansu Province. Its total assets amounts to 230,000,000 yuan in which the fixed assets reaches 98,000,000 yuan. Annually the company can manufacture 400,000,000 meters of drip irrigation pipes, 6000 tons of PVC and PE tubes and 3000 sets of water-saving fertilization filtration system. It is a state-level high-tech enterprise gathering the design of water conservancy & hydropower project, constructive installation and R&D of new products as one unity, which mainly yields the water-saving agricultural products. At present, the company governs 6 sub-companies and a provincial-level R&D center, respectively located in Jiuquan, Wuwei and Dingxi of Gansu Province, Inner Mongolia, Ningxia and other provinces. There are 680 employees in the company. Its products are not only sold to many provinces of China, including Gansu, Xinjiang, Ningxia, Inner Mongolia, Qinghai, Shanxi, Heilongjiang and Yunnan, but also exported to many overseas markets, e.g. South Korea, Thailand, Australia and India. The total industrial output value reaches 400 million yuan.

Sinkiang Dayu Water-conservation Sub-company is a branch of Gansu Dayu Water-conservation CO., LTD., with an independent legal personality, which is newly established with the support of the Office of the autonomous regional water conservancy, the Government and Party Committee of Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture, and the Government and Party Committee of Changji City to conform to the high-speed development of water-saving society in Hui Autonomous Prefecture and Changji region. The company plans to invest totally 50 million yuan and the equipment inputs include 5 production lines of PVC pipes, 3 that of PE pipes, 2 that of drip irrigation pipes and 3 sets of injection molding machine. The annual production capacity, that is 3000 tons of PVC & PE pipes and 120 million meters of drip irrigation pipes, will be formed. The company will achieve 150 million yuan of the total industrial output value and 7.5 million yuan of revenue, which will accordingly promote the development of local employment and other industrial economy.
